Have you ever heard a story of someone who won millions on the lottery, but a few years later were penniless again?  Of course you have, its all too common.  Why does something like that happen?  Surely once you get the millions, life is easy right?  But the thing is, people who win the lottery aren’t millionaires; maybe in their bank accounts, but not in their mindset.  And that’s where the problem starts.

In order to be wealthy, you need to invest.  Love is a two way thing; you give it and receive it.  Respect is earnt.  No matter what you want, you need to DO in order to HAVE.

But DOing is only half the equation.  You also need to BE that person as well.  Developing the beliefs and identity of the persona you desire is also key.  Someone told me a good stat the other day, which was you will earn + or – 10% of those you associate with the most.  Why?  Because you develop the values of the people you are around the most.

Its worth dwelling on the BE for a second because its so important.  If you are always the type of person who looks for a discount, think about the type of customer you have in your business…  I’m will to bet they’re also looking for a discount a lot of the time.

So the question is: Who DO you want to attract?  What do amazing customers look like to you?  Perhaps it is a customer who always pays cash.  Or passes a lot of referral business.  Start BEing that person, and you will attract them into your business.  Remember, Be as well as DO will equal HAVE.
